A modern material, classical processes

It is not only its appearance that resembles marble, because STONEGLASS® also inherits the most classical processes. Cutting and filing, edge shaping, engraving, sand blasting and thermoforming, bonding (including UV).

Every phase is marked by the use of specialised machinery or manual tools, because the finished product is shaped by craftsmanship and experience, as a sculptor shapes his artwork.

Types of cut available:

  • water jet
  • milling
  • disc sawing
  • bevel

Types of bonding:

  • UV
  • silicone
  • sealants

It may be necessary to adapt certain processes on-site from industrial machine procedures. With glass or stone, this would require extra time and particular attention; with STONEGLASS®, this too can be done rapidly and with precision.
